Progress on our Home for the Future

IMG_4223Work is progressing on The Arc of Massachusetts’s new headquarters building. We reported a couple of weeks ago that the aging building that had been our home for nearly 40 years was demolished and hauled away. Since then, crews have cleared the lot and prepared the site for the foundation.

While this is a new chapter in the history of our organization, it will not change our core mission. The new building will allow The Arc to remain at the forefront of the struggle to build better lives for those with disabilities. It will allow us to better serve our mission by increasing our capacity.

imageProgress is also continuing on the $1.6 million Home for the Future Campaign, which is making the construction possible. We have raised nearly $1.2 million in gifts and pledges. Thank you to the individuals, chapters, agency partners, and foundations that already have made a commitment to the Campaign.

You can raise the profile of individuals with disabilities by helping us reach our goal. Learn more about the new building and giving opportunities by visiting arcmass.org/campaign.
