We are seeking a bright, motivated, organized office assistant, for a temporary, part-time position. The person in this position will assist staff with administrative and accounting tasks and projects, such as setting up appointments for the Executive Director, calendar management, data entry, answering phone inquiries, mailings, and photocopying.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable making phone calls. Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office,particularly Word and Excel. Quick learner.
Duties: General office tasks, including:
-Create and maintain files in Excel
-Track accounting information
-Make appointments and manage Outlook calendar
-Answer incoming phone calls
-Assist with logistics for events
Salary and hours: $10.00/hour with an average of 18 – 20 hours per week through August 26. Must be available to work 9am to 5pm on Thursdays.
