The Arc has made significant progress toward inclusive healthcare for people with autism and IDD through our nationally recognized program Operation House Call.
Please take a minute to ask your Representative to support House Amendment #877 filed by Chairman John Lawn. This amendment will help us continue the important work of training future doctors and nurses, dentists, and other health professionals on the best practices for treating patients with autism and IDD.
Teaching through lived experience and providing foundational learning as well as rich clinical and community resources makes our program unique and poised to grow with funding and support from the legislature.
Please also follow up with your Representative to make sure they signed on.
