Participants will gain a better understanding of how to support relationships between people with disabilities and their coworkers. In this webinar, specific strategies for job coaches and job developers will be discussed. Person-centered-planning and the importance of vocational assessments will also be explored. Phoebe has worked in disability services for more than 15 years in a variety of settings. Her experience ranges from residential, school, day program, community-based services, and employment supports throughout the years, starting as a direct support professional. Phoebe has worked as a job coach, job developer, and supervisor in employment services. Phoebe functioned as the Supported Employment Director at Vinfen in their psychiatric rehabilitation division. During that time, she supported employment specialists and community integration coordinators in their roles. She is currently a Pathways to Friendship facilitator, as well as a nonprofit consultant.
