  1. Thank you for pushing for this training. When my son was learning to drive, I asked the Billerica Police department to help my son practice how to be pulled over safely. The senior officer who set up my son’s practice being pulled over session included 2 younger officers to help them learn more about the range of behavior an Asperger’s driver might exhibit. My son learned a lot and so did the officers. I can’t thank Billerica’s finest enough for helping my son stay alive for a future traffic stop. Telling my friends (parents of teen drivers) about my son’s “fire drill” got them thinking about how we teach our experiential learner kids about how to interact with police matters too.

  2. As a momma to my beautiful 5 year old boy w Autism I think this training program is a awesome idea. I also hope that in the near future this is something for all officer’s stations require within their district.
