People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are facing threats to their health and wellbeing due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Congress has recently passed two important Coronavirus packages, which have been signed by President Trump, but this is just a start in addressing this crisis. More action must be taken to support people with disabilities and their families!
I am sorry to let you know that The Arc of Massachusetts is canceling its 65th Anniversary Celebration, which was scheduled for Thursday, March 26 at the Boston Marriott Newton. The cancellation is in response to mounting concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A state of emergency was declared in Massachusetts on Tuesday.
