Maura Sullivan Hosts Presentation On Advocacy And Operation House Call For LEND Program Students

On Friday, November 8, The Arc of Massachusetts’ Director of Government Affairs and Operation House Call Maura Sullivan was happy to be a guest at the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) class at UMass Medical School’s Shriver Center.

Each year, many strong disability advocates come out of the LEND programs.  We are so lucky to have so many parents, professionals, and individuals with disabilities graduate with expansive knowledge of the disability community and systems that support people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Maura, an alumna of the LEND program, shared her advocacy perspectives related to the evolution of Operation House Call and raising children with autism.
