Tuesday, November 6 is voting day for State Elections. The ballot will include candidates for the MA constitutional officers (Governor/Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor); the US Congress; the MA Senate; the MA House of Representatives; the Governor’s Council; and County offices.
In addition, there are three initiative ballot questions. The Secretary of State’s webpage allows you to enter your address to view the names of the candidates in your district, as well as the details of the ballot questions.
In a 1944 radio address, Franklin D. Roosevelt offered one of the best motives for voting: “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves — and the only way they could do this is by not voting.”
Most polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and we urge everyone to get out and vote.
