On Saturday, December 28, The Arc of Massachusetts took part in the Prudential Center’s 11th Annual 31 Nights of Light.
Every night during the month of December, the Prudential Tower is lit up in a different color to honor the work of a local nonprofit organization.
This was The Arc’s third year participating, as we previously took part in 2016 and 2018. This year, The Arc coordinated a ceremony featuring the traditional flipping of the switch, which officially lit the Prudential Tower up in our signature orange hue.
In addition, we were lucky enough to be joined by our 2019 Gala honoree, Braeden Yee, a 13-year-old piano prodigy with autism. Braeden performed a concert for the dozens of attendees, countless more passersby, and hundreds of viewers on Instagram, consisting of Christmas carols and traditional wintry favorites like “Good King Wenceslas,” “Let It Snow,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Carol of the Bells.”
We’re grateful to all who attended and made this festive evening so much fun!
