As The Arc of Massachusetts continues our commitment to promoting and ensuring equity in healthcare, we’re thrilled to announce that Maura Sullivan, our Director of Government Affairs and Operation House Call, is participating as part of the faculty panel for the National Health Equity Summit happening this week (6/7-6/10).
Maura’s panel session is called Addressing Culture and Competency in Care for People with Disability. More information on her session, and others, can be found here. Registration is free for this summit.
The goal of the Summit is to define the issues; provide sophisticated historical, social, epidemiological and demographic context; set forth specific challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic; feature practical and actionable approaches to addressing and improving access and equity; and help to foster a community of researchers and change agents committed to redressing health inequities. CMEs are available through these sessions.
