Earlier this year, Governor Charlie Baker signed the final budget bill for FY’2020 that includes significant gains for the Commonwealth’s disability community and their families.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, we want to show our appreciation of the Governor’s increases in his original budget for programs at the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other state agencies that provide supports and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), including autism, and we hope you will join us in thanking him.
We also want to acknowledge our gratitude to the direct support workforce and their important role in assisting individuals with I/DD, including autism, to live their best lives.
