Henry and Evelyne Milorin joined Leo Live on Monday, June 15. The discussion touched on their decades long journey as parents and advocates, including raising Reggie, who was identified as having autism. They also had an opportunity to talk about the intersection of race and disability, especially given current ongoing activism.
The Milorins have been leaders at The Arc, active at Communitas, nurtured families at the Haitian-American Public Health Alliance, and been involved in political life. Henry served on The Arc board in the 2000s, and the Mass. Developmental Disabilities Council. Evelyne was on the Family to Family Steering Committee (waiting list) and includes a prized Kennedy Fellow appointment in Washington D.C. among her leadership activities.
