The Arc Shares Findings Of 2-Year Pilot Project On Aging With Autism And/Or I/DD In Lexington

Over the past two years, thanks to generous grants from the Dana Home Foundation of Lexington, SUPPORTbrokers of The Arc of Massachusetts implemented a pilot project focusing on Aging with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities in Lexington.

Between 2017 and 2019, nine older individuals received assistance in developing Person Centered Future Plans (PCFPs). In addition, The Arc offered members of the Lexington community informational forums on subjects including “Medical Issues Related to Aging with Disabilities,” “Service Options for Seniors in Lexington,” and “Developing Community Friendships.” Over 100 individuals attended these workshops.

The Arc is now pleased to present the summary of our pilot project, which can be found as a PDF presentation at the link below.
