The Boston Globe Editorial Board Supports Nicky’s Law

On Wednesday, November 14, The Boston Globe Editorial Board shared an editorial in support of The Arc of Massachusetts legislative priority bill, Nicky’s Law, also known as The Abuse Registry Bill.

Nicky’s Law would require the creation of a registry for care providers who have been substantiated of abuse against individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Arc will be taking part in a vigil at the State House, based out of room 437, on Thursday, November 15 in support of passage of this bill.

The Arc is grateful to the Boston Globe for its support of this crucial proposed legislation.
