What You Need To Know About CVI
Wednesday, December 18 @ 12:00PM

Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) is a brain-based visual impairment and a common cause of blindness and low vision, yet it is poorly understood and often underdiagnosed. Less than 20% of children with CVI have been diagnosed, and adults with CVI struggle to get services.

This webinar explores what CVI is, when to suspect it, and why early diagnosis is important, as well as how to address challenges around proper diagnosis and getting services. Presenters Rachel Bennett and Ali Mahady are parents and leaders of CVI Now as part of the CVI Center at the Perkins School for the Blind. CVI Now empowers families with knowledge, guidance, and tools for success.
