On Friday, January 12, the OHC team taught at Harvard Medical School. Maura Sullivan and Jennifer Drohan presented the OHC learning objectives, including understanding the health disparities and access issues for patients with autism or IDD.
Along with Sam Kanji and Jonathan Gardner, the team engaged students through sharing their lived experiences. The students are now ready to visit homes of OHC host families, reflect on their experiences through written assignments, and then return to the classroom for a debrief and shared learning session.
Thank you to the OHC host families who make this program unique and impactful.
