Currently, I represent the 6th Plymouth District, which includes the towns of Pembroke, Hanson and most of Duxbury. Prior to my service in the legislature, I was a newspaper editor and small business owner. In addition, I served for a number of years as an elected official at the local level. As a member of House of Representatives, I am Vice Chair for the Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities and I also serve on the following committees: Higher Education, Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy and Ways and Means. I am an attorney by training (graduate of Suffolk Law School) and recently completed my master’s degree in public policy at UMass Dartmouth.
