Workshop Series on Future Planning and Developing a Letter of Intent

With generous funding from The Dana Home Foundation of Lexington, The Arc of Massachusetts will be offering a three-session workshop on Future Planning and Developing a Letter of Intent for Aging Caregivers of Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

The sessions will be held on April 5, 12, 26 from 10 – 12pm at the Lexington Community Center at 39 Marrett Road, Lexington. This series is limited to participants who can commit to attending all three 2-hour sessions.

  • Session One: April 5 – 10:00AM – 12:00PM
  • Session Two: April 12 – 10:00AM – 12:00PM
  • Session Three: April 26 – 10:00AM – 12:00PM

This will be an interactive set of sessions facilitated by Rosalie Edes and Kerry Mahoney in which participants will have the opportunity to learn approaches to Future Planning and hear from others who have done it or have benefited from receiving this information. There will be time to discuss what should be included in a Letter of Intent and receive resource materials and outlines for developing a document that organizes critical information and presents a vision for the future care of your loved one.
