Dear dedicated health equity and Operation House Call advocates,
As you know, the House of Representatives successfully passed an Operation House Call (OHC) amendment to the FY24 State Budget that would pass the legislation and provide funding to sustain and grow this important program.
Since the Senate was not able to pass the same amendment, the negotiation is taking place now during the Conference Committee phase of the budget process. The Committee will decide whether to accept the House’s amendment or not.
We have asked you many times to reach out to your legislators and here we are again, but the stakes are the highest they have been so far – we are so close to passing this into law and getting appropriations.
