As we enter the last month of the 193rd legislative session, The Arc of Massachusetts is celebrating our victories on our workforce priorities through the budget!
We know that our priorities have been agreed upon by the House and Senate during the budget debate process, so we expect success in these areas in the final budget.
Our successful advocacy includes:
- $480 million for the workforce
- over $130 million in increases for DDS
- $40 million for day programs (MassHealth)
- the halting of proposed PCA cuts
