On December 31, Beth Rutledge, our Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant, is retiring. Beth has been with The Arc of Massachusetts since 1994. She began her journey with The Arc as a volunteer, after learning about The Arc through her son’s caseworker. Since then, Beth has been an integral part of the organization, serving as the first point of contact for the countless individuals who call, email, or visit The Arc on a daily basis.
“Beth has been the bedrock of The Arc!” said CEO Maura Sullivan. “Her decades of service have benefited thousands of individuals and families who needed information or guidance. Beth has been a diligent, thoughtful and cheerful colleague. I’m so grateful for her consistent contributions and her perspective as a parent of a son with disabilities. The Arc family will miss you, Beth! Thank you for your dedication to this important work!”
“Another chapter closes for The Arc as you retire, Beth!” said Leo Sarkissian, former Executive Director. “I appreciate your decades of service and commitment. You have played many roles at The Arc during your time. You carry yourself with grace and humility. I remember one of our team noting that your presence in those early years was like a glue that kept us together. You have made such a difference in my journey, and that of The Arc. Thank you!”
Congratulations, Beth, on your well-earned retirement! The Arc of Massachusetts community will miss you.
