Since 2010 I’ve represented the Second Berkshire District which encompasses 16 communities in Berkshire and Franklin Counties and is the largest geographical Representative district in the Commonwealth. Because of the size of my district there are challenges unlike other districts. Currently I serve as Chair of the Redistricting Committee. I greatly appreciate the good working relationship that I have with The United Arc, Berkshire County Arc and other service groups who serve many of my constituents. I am strongly committed to encouraging opportunities for each person to develop to their full potential. Together we can support those programs that lead individuals to greater independence and foster a climate where every person is treated with respect and dignity.
