The Arc of Massachusetts is celebrating the legacy of Kerry Mahoney, a champion of disability rights and inclusion, respected colleague, and cherished friend, by dedicating a Memorial Garden in her honor.
If you knew Kerry well, you most likely heard stories or even saw photos of her treasured garden. Kerry loved nature in all forms. In her time at The Arc, she enjoyed lunching with her colleagues on the patio, taking in the scenes of the tree-lined backyard and birds and squirrels, or holding an outdoor meeting with visitors.
The Kerry Mahoney Memorial Garden will surround the patio at The Arc headquarters. It will be accessible to visitors when the office is open, as well as after hours and on the weekend. We plan to dedicate it in late spring/early summer 2024.
