The Arc of Massachusetts is excited to welcome Emilia Niyangoda as our new Government Affairs Associate!
Emilia graduated from the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy. Emilia centered her coursework and research around developing policies that better suit marginalized communities. In the past, Emilia interned in Senator Elizabeth Warren’s Boston Office, where she grew a passion for disability advocacy and a strong interest in equitable healthcare policies.
Emilia will be a critical part of the Government Affairs team, working to advance our state and federal platform at this critical time.
