I proudly represent the people of the 5th Middlesex District of Massachusetts, which includes the cities and towns of Malden, Melrose, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, and parts of Winchester. As Chair of the Education Committee, there are many bills that come before the committee that are related to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I’ve worked closely with officials from The Arc of Massachusetts so that the needs of our most vulnerable populations are clearly addressed. In addition, I serve on five other committees including Labor and Workforce Development, Ways and Means, Redistricting, Cannabis Policy and Community Development & Small Business. The best part of my job as a Senator is working with and listening to ways in which I can help improve the lives not only of my constituents, but support legislation that can have a positive effect on all MA residents.
