On Tuesday, June 27, The Arc’s Government Affairs team, our Government Affairs committee members, our Policy Intern, our advocacy partners and many other advocates, along with our dedicated legislative sponsors, testified in front of the Joint Committee on Children, Families, and Persons with Disabilities.
The Arc’s priority bills were well represented with powerful testimony from all. The legislation that was heard today included: Expanding Equitable Access to Medical Necessary Treatments (ABA for Adults on MassHealth), Expanding Nicky’s Law, Archaic Language Bill (Katie’s Law), and the DPPC Language bill to align with Nicky’s Law.
