The Arc of Massachusetts is seeking a driven, results-oriented Project Manager to lead a critical marketing initiative aimed at addressing the workforce shortage crisis within the field of services for persons with autism and intellectual and developmental (IDD) disabilities in Massachusetts. The position is part of a federally funded grant that offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with IDD and ensure continued access to essential programs and day centers. This is a temporary, 12-month contract position with an anticipated start date in August.

The Arc of Massachusetts is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. We work to ensure that all individuals with IDD have the opportunity to live, learn, work, and participate fully in their communities.

Responsibilities include Program Development and Management; Communication and Collaboration; Marketing and Outreach; and Metrics and Evaluation.

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with the grant requirements.
  • Facilitate regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate clear and concise reports for internal stakeholders, detailing program progress, achievements, and challenges.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the federal funding agency, adhering to their specific requirements and deadlines.
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive marketing and outreach campaign, leveraging a combination of owned, earned, and paid media strategies (website, social media, partnerships).
  • Establish a data collection plan to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure program success.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex projects, ideally with a focus on workforce development or social impact initiatives.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing successful marketing and outreach campaigns.
  • Experience working with and managing external partners, such as digital agencies.
  • Experience in human services and the challenges faced by service providers a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively respond to report requirements in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Trello, Slack, and/or Teams.
