My district – the 4th Berkshire – consists of 20 towns in Berkshire and Hampden counties. This is my tenth term in office. Before being elected to the House, I had previously served at the local level on various elected boards in my home town of Lenox. As a former board member of The Berkshire Arc, I became aware of the needs of many in my area who depend on various support services to more fully participate in community living and activities. In my time in office, I have continued to support the Berkshire Arc and state-wide access initiatives. Our ability to care for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable citizens is and will continue to be one of my highest priorities.
