After I’m Gone: In-Person Course

This in-person course, consisting of four classes, will guide you in creating a plan that will live on after you are no longer able to be an active caregiver, coach, or overseer of your loved one’s activities, services, and other key aspects of their life.

Participants will:

  • Identify key tasks or activities whether managed by you, through others, or through public services.
  • Identify and/or develop successor caregiver(s).
  • Utilize a questionnaire to help share details of the individual and his/her life.
  • Determine the role of Care Managers, Attorneys, and Financial Planners.
  • Finalize a future plan.

The Arc’s Innovation Development Director Leo Sarkissian and Director of Education and Outreach Jackie Doherty will facilitate the classes. Discussion and sharing of stories will be encouraged. This is a pilot course and there is currently no charge to attend. To make a donation, please visit thearcofmass.org/donate.

Please plan on attending all four classes. Space is limited to 25 participants.
