The 2021 Transition Conference webinar series will demonstrate how the LifeCourse Frameworks and Tools can help you create seamless, successful transitions into the adult world for your loved ones. The 2-week virtual program will begin with a welcome from Leo Sarkissian, Executive Director of The Arc of Massachusetts, and a kickoff with special guest Corey Ferguson from the Department of Developmental Disabilities in Ohio.
We will be offering 16 webinars reflecting the six domains of Charting the LifeCourse: Meaningful Day and Employment, Safety and Security, Community Living, Social and Spirituality, Healthy Living, and Advocacy and Engagement.
A pass for all webinars being offered is $50 per person. The pass will allow you to attend each of the webinars when they are broadcast and to participate in the Q&A session with the expert speakers after their presentation. If you are unable to attend any of the webinars live, you will be able to view a recording of it. The recordings will be available online until May 31, 2022.
The Transition Conference could not be held without the generosity of our incredible sponsors and donations from individual donors to The Arc of Massachusetts. Their support has paid for the majority of the costs associated with holding the Transition Conference. These costs include presenter fees, technology, and staff time. The Arc of Massachusetts is deeply grateful to our sponsors and donors for making it possible for us to offer the Transition Conference for only $50 per person.
There is a limited number of need-based scholarships for the Transition Conference. Applications for need-based scholarships are now open here. Contact Julie Coppenrath with any questions.
