Thank you to the 600+ people who registered for and attended today’s webinar with officials from the Healey-Driscoll administration. We appreciated hearing about how the Commonwealth is preparing for the incoming presidential administration and the work that is underway to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.

Our key takeaways from this session, as we look ahead to the advocacy to come:

  • The administration is open to hearing from our community and continuing to work with us on any possible threats.
  • We must work to safeguard the rights of people with disabilities.
  • It is more critical that we work collaboratively and advocate together.
  • We must continue to be proactive.
  • The administration has a good sense of the challenges we face, regardless of what the new administration does.
  • “Our commitment has not changed.”

Please stay connected to The Arc. We need you. We need your voice. We need your numbers. Join us for the many events we have coming up, volunteer, advocate, and donate to support our mission.
