2024 Transition Conference: The Transition Journeys

On Saturday, April 27, The Arc of Massachusetts hosted our 2024 Transition Conference, The Transition Journeys, at Worcester State University. This was our first conference held fully in person since 2019, and we were so thrilled to reach over 400 individuals and families this year.

The Transition Conference is an invaluable source of resources for individuals and families preparing for the transition and Turning 22 process. Experts in all aspects of the journey, ranging from state agency staff to financial planners to self-advocates who have gone through it all before, presented across 17 workshops. Attendees also heard remarks from speakers Cheryl Ryan Chan, Korbin Johnson, Joan McGrath, and Greg Austin across a wide range of topics.
