Our Operation House Call team was hard at work this past month, educating students at Harvard Medical School, Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, and kicking off the academic year at UMass Chan Medical School. Over 230 students learned from family and individual lived experiences during their OHC in-class lectures. Following that, the students will meet with almost 80 host families who will further their learning in the home visit, a unique and crucial aspect of our innovative program.
OHC empowers individuals and families to teach through lived experience, shaping the skills and mindsets of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals.
