Maura Sullivan, The Arc’s Senior Director of Government Affairs and Health Policy, was recognized by Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School with the inaugural Commitment to Service Award at the 25th Anniversary of the Center for Community Engagement.
Maura is a tireless advocate for the residents of the Commonwealth with disabilities. She is a guest lecturer for Social Change classes every semester at Suffolk University and she now also leads The Arc’s Service Learning Project with Suffolk honors students.
“I’m honored to received this Commitment to Service Award from my Alma Mater,” Maura stated. “I love teaching students about social change through a disability policy lens. I can’t wait to attend the Service Learning Showcase where students will present on their projects to help The Arc of Massachusetts.”
