The state budget process takes several months and goes through multiple steps before being finalized. Advocacy is needed throughout. Currently, the House is debating amendments to the House Ways and Means Committee version of the budget. The Arc of Massachusetts worked with our legislative champions to file several amendments to increase funding in critical areas. This is a tight budget year, and we need your advocacy power to pass these amendments. Please contact your Representative and ask them to cosponsor our amendment priorities today!
