The state budget process takes several months and goes through multiple steps before being finalized. Advocacy is needed throughout. The House recently concluded its debate. Currently, the Senate is debating amendments to the Senate Ways and Means Committee version of the budget. The Arc of Massachusetts worked with our legislative champions to file several amendments to increase funding in critical areas. This is a tight budget year, and we need your advocacy power to pass these amendments. Please contact your Senator today and ask them to cosponsor our amendment priorities.
