We are excited to spotlight our two new Government Affairs interns as stellar advocates!

Ananya Sharma, a rising sophomore at Georgetown University, and Prisha Dedhia, a rising sophomore at Brandeis University, are motivated advocates who are passionate about disability rights.

They joined us at the State House recently for a monumental day when the House passed the Blue Envelope Bill and the Senate adopted an amendment to their FY27 budget proposal that includes a $1.2 million increase for the DESE-DDS Residential Placement Prevention Program.

Ananya and Prisha will continue to advocate directly at the State House to gain support for our priorities, as well as work the behind-the-scenes to support many Government Affairs projects. Thank you, Ananya and Prisha for your work so far. We are so grateful and excited to have incredible interns for the summer!
