Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts (AFAM), a division of The Arc of Massachusetts, was recently honored as one of the “Flutie 50” at Flutie’s Big Night for Autism for its significant impact on the autism community.
AFAM’s recognition reflects the collective contributions of its members, including The Arc’s CEO Maura Sullivan, Amy Weinstock, Katie Terino, and Michael Borr, whose advocacy and dedication help advance the needs and priorities of people with autism and their families across Massachusetts.
The evening also celebrated a major milestone for the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, which has raised $50 million in support of people with autism and their families since its founding. AFAM was proud to join fellow advocates and community partners in recognizing this achievement and celebrating Doug Flutie’s birthday.
Congratulations to the Flutie Foundation on this incredible milestone and its lasting impact on the autism community! The Arc of Massachusetts is proud to see AFAM’s work recognized among the many organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with autism and their families.
