The Arc has made significant progress toward inclusive healthcare for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism through our nationally recognized program, Operation House Call.
You all helped us pass the amendment in the House with nearly 350 letters sent.
Please take a minute now to ask your Senator to support Senate Amendment #525 Operation House Call, filed by Senator Jason Lewis.
This amendment will help us continue the important work of training future doctors, nurses, dentists, and other health professionals on the best practices for treating patients with IDD and autism. Teaching through lived experience and providing foundational learning and rich clinical and community resources makes our program unique and poised to grow with funding and support from the legislature.
