The formal legislative session in Massachusetts ends on Friday, July 31.

It has been a week of all hands on deck at the State House for The Arc’s Government Affairs team, with CEO Maura Sullivan, Senior Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy Nora Bent, Government Affairs Associate Emilia Niyangoda, and Government Relations Specialist Charlie Fiske making the rounds and meeting with legislators all week long.

For the past few days, we have been offering a special behind the scenes look at The Arc’s advocacy work in action, with Maura, Nora, and Emilia taking the lead on some great short form video content that explains how advocacy works, what the end of session means, how you can get involved in our urgent advocacy. They’ve also interviewed some of our legislative champions, including Representative Sean Garballey and Representative Christine Barber.

In case you missed any of the content (Wednesday and Thursday content is available as of sending, and more will be added on Friday!), you can watch them back below.

Thank you for your continued support of our advocacy and our mission. Our incredible Government Affairs team is able to make meaningful change happen because of you.
