The Arc of Massachusetts was incredibly proud to host and stand alongside Governor Maura Healey, law enforcement partners, state legislators, and a powerful coalition of advocates to celebrate the Blue Envelope bill officially being signed into law. Participating in this milestone firsthand was an honor and a beautiful reflection of what we can achieve when we raise our voices together. This law is a true testament to the power of grassroots, community-driven advocacy. The Arc and AFAM – Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts championed this from the start, alongside incredible self-advocates, Senator Jo Comerford, State Representative Mindy Domb, and Representative Sean Garballey. We have strengthened our partnership with the Massachusetts State Police for continued advocacy initiatives.
