On Wednesday, July 6, The Arc of Massachusetts took part in the Boston Red Sox’s Disability Pride Month night at Fenway Park.
Tyler Buckley, an 18-year-old with autism and son of The Arc’s Maura Sullivan, took part in the festivities by declaring “Play Ball” at the start of the game on the mound with Wally the Green Monster and Tessie the Green Monster. Footage of the moment can be seen below.
Thanks to HMEA and the Red Sox for allowing The Arc to participate in this wonderful awareness event.
