Jayden Christian is a dedicated self-advocate and an incredibly compelling speaker who shares her lived experience to advocate for individuals with IDD and autism. She engages directly with legislators and spoke at our February budget briefing, highlighting the urgent need for stable supports and a strong workforce.
In this photo, Jayden is pictured with Representative Kate Lipper-Garabedian, after she thoughtfully shared her personal story and experiences with her. Moments like these highlight the impact of direct advocacy and the importance of being heard.
Jayden’s perspective reinforces a critical message: meaningful investment in these services is essential to ensuring people with disabilities can live safely and thrive in their communities.
And a fun fact Jayden wanted to share: she loves her puppies, Tawny and Cowboy!
Thank you, Jayden, for your leadership and advocacy.
