This month, The Arc of Massachusetts is proud to spotlight Anna Glennon, a passionate disability advocate who carries forward her mother’s legacy of fighting for the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.
From meeting with legislators (Senator Patrick O’Connor) to advocating for the funding and supports people need to thrive in their communities, Anna reminds us that every voice matters. She also gives back through her work with the Hanson Kiwanis Aktion Club, participating in community service projects and finding meaningful ways to help others.
With November’s election approaching, Anna also shares an important message about the power of voting. Her story is a reminder that people with disabilities deserve to have their voices heard and their priorities represented in our democracy. Voting is an important way to participate in our communities and help shape the decisions that affect our lives. We’re grateful to Anna for sharing her perspective and inspiring others to make their voices count!
