On November 15, The Arc of Massachusetts was thrilled to be able to participate in Google’s 2019 Giving Week. Thanks to the generous nomination of our Board Member, Brian Cusack, we were chosen as one of the nonprofits to participate in Google’s annual week of giving, where Google employees can donate to the nonprofits of their choice during a fun event known as Donuts for Donations.
Tufts Health Plan Foundation recently awarded The Arc of Massachusetts a grant of $5,000 for our new workplace initiative. The Arc project was nominated for the grant by the company’s Parallel business resource group, which advocates for Tufts employees with disabilities. The grant will support trainings for employee resource groups (ERGs) at several companies in Greater Boston to help people with I/DD succeed in the workplace and provide information to employees who have a family member with a disability.
Please join The Arc of Massachusetts in celebrating 65 years of making a difference for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) including autism and their families. Innumerable advocates, families, public officials, donors, human service agencies, and friends have worked tirelessly to reach this milestone.
