Some MassHealth Day habilitation program participants receive supplemental services from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). This supplement is given to provide one-to-one assistance from a staff member and it is funded by DDS.

Beginning on October 1, 2022, DDS will NO LONGER fund the supplement. But you will continue to receive it from MassHealth.

It will be called: Individualized Staffing Supports.

You will not lose services because of these changes: you should have a smooth transition. You do not need to do anything.

Questions? You may talk with your DDS Service Coordinator or Area Office or ask staff at your Day Habilitation program.
