Trainer/Facilitator – After I’m Gone Program
The Arc is seeking experienced Trainers/Facilitators to join our After I’m Gone Program, supporting families and individuals with disabilities in planning for the future. In this meaningful role, you will guide participants through important conversations and practical steps to ensure their loved ones are supported long after primary caregivers are no longer able to provide care. These roles are limited or intermittent based on training schedule.
Ideal candidates bring a combination of emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid working knowledge of disability services and adult family life. We are looking for individuals who are genuinely strength-based in their approach, viewing adults as such, regardless of apparent limitations, and who are organized. Lived experience — as a family member, close supporter, or person with a disability — is highly valued. Experience with future planning or person-centered planning is preferred.
Compensation will be through stipends for each workshop. These will range from $150 to $200 per 90-minute session. Webinar orientation for prospective trainers will be compensated at a different rate.
Please forward resumes and letters to Kalea Amundson at KAmundson@arcmass.org.
