More than 60 people joined us at the Pathways to Friendship Annual Forum on Thursday, June 11 to learn, connect, and share ideas about building meaningful friendships between people with and without disabilities.
The day began with an engaging icebreaker led by self-advocate and presenter Jonathan Spiller, followed by legislative updates from The Arc of Massachusetts CEO Maura Sullivan and recognition of Pathways to Friendship’s ongoing impact in the disability community.
We were pleased to welcome keynote speaker Dr. Ann Turnbull, a nationally recognized leader in intellectual and developmental disabilities, who shared her expertise on family support, inclusion, and quality of life.
The Plugged In Band Program brought great energy to the afternoon, and participants wrapped up the day with collaborative brainstorming sessions focused on strengthening connections and community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a successful event. We look forward to seeing you at future Pathways to Friendship programs.
