200 medical students from Tufts School of Medicine are currently studying about the brain this block.

Through Operation House Call, Maura Sullivan, The Arc’s Director of Health Policy, is providing them a different perspective – with real life learning about health disparities, attitudinal barriers, and implicit bias as it relates to intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

The goal of these sessions is to enhance care and increase inclusive clinical spaces. Thanks to self-advocate Brendan Durkin for recently sharing his story.

For more information on Operation House Call or to make a donation to this program, please contact Maura Sullivan at sullivan@arcmass.org.
