Operation House Call wrapped up the 2025-2026 academic year at Tufts University School of Medicine with a fabulous group of active and engaged learners!
Parent Instructors Stephanie Lowell and Ashley Waring delivered OHC’s rich curriculum based on their lived experiences with autism and IDD. Co-teachers Matthew Cullen and Zoe Spiegel shared their personal journeys with students as well, and answered questions about their health care, jobs, hobbies, friends, and hopes for the future.
Now these third-year residents in their pediatric rotation will be matched with host families from our network to continue their learning. Over this academic year at Tufts, OHC taught 150 students across eight classes and those students met in small groups with 46 families for home visits.
We are so grateful for our strong partnership with Tufts and the dedication of our family network!
